Web-DVM was founded in August 2007 by Dr. Roger L. Welton, licensed veterinarian, president of Maybeck Animal Hospital in West Melbourne, FL, and author of "Canine & Feline 101." When Dr. Welton was creating this site, his goal was to provide a venue for dog and cat enthusiasts to learn to optimally care for their dogs and cats. Dr. Welton regularly communicates with Web-DVM guests through hosting our TV show/blog called The Web-DVM TV & Blog.
